Secure Mobile Access for BYOD Smartphones and Tablets Now Available with Flowfinity Reverse Proxy

Flowfinity Reverse Proxy enables Android, iPhone and iPad users to securely access mobile apps installed in the corporate network

Flowfinity® Wireless Inc., a proven provider of enterprise mobile apps for business process automation, today announced the availability of the Flowfinity Reverse Proxy, a solution for delivering secure access to Flowfinity mobile apps deployed within corporate networks for users of popular smartphones and tablets. As more organizations adopt bring-your-own-device (BYOD) policies, the requirement for maintaining network security has led to limitations in organizations' abilities to benefit from deploying cross-platform mobile apps.

Flowfinity Reverse Proxy allows organizations to extend mobile apps deployed within their corporate environment to Android, iPhone and iPad devices while maintaining the integrity of the corporate network perimeter. The server software allows IT departments to support multiple mobile devices with a pre-authenticated secure communication channel that is compatible with corporate firewall policies.

Flowfinity Reverse Proxy provides a robust application access alternative to VPN solutions, which are complex to deploy and manage and are not particularly suitable for BYOD configurations, and BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), which is only available for BlackBerry devices.
