Flowfinity® Wireless Inc., a leading provider and enabler of adaptable smartphone business applications, today announces comprehensive support for the HTC Tilt 2 from AT&T. Running Windows Mobile 6.5, the Tilt 2 is a business-ready device, featuring a 3.6-inch wide touchscreen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. When the keyboard is slid out, the screen can be tilted giving the device a profile similar to a notebook computer. When combined with business applications like Microsoft Office Mobile and Flowfinity Forms, the Tilt 2 is potentially a laptop replacement for field workers.
With Flowfinity Forms, users of the Tilt 2 can easily and quickly create, deploy and use forms on a smartphone, making it practical to collect data, conduct surveys, accept orders, or track activities.
With the Tilt 2, users can also collect pictures taken with the 3.2 megapixel camera, log GPS locations, and capture signatures using the 3.6-inch wide touchscreen.
“Signature capture is
a frequent request by our customers,
and many popular smartphones do not
support this capability,” said
Larry Wilson, Vice-President of
Sales and Marketing at Flowfinity
Wireless. “With its large high
resolution touch screen, the AT&T
Tilt 2 smartphone makes it
particularly convenient to capture
signatures.”
Signature capture capability will be appreciated by businesses providing delivery services, accepting orders or approving work completion: the customers can acknowledge the transactions by signing the touch screen of the smartphone. To view more details on retail audit
